HDA sports center with tennis courts, all weather five a side pitch and paddle courts is also located within a short drive! Numerous social activities are organized during the week including regular social tennis and paddle sessions, petanque and lawn bowls. There is also a fitness suite available 7 days a week and weekly exercise classes.

 

Boasting stunning views across HDA's Championship Golf, from the back ties one of the longest courses in Spain, the 5* Club House as the center point to The Resort is a fantastic place to enjoy a relaxed lunch in the 'a la carte' restaurant or grab a hearty English breakfast or bar snack before Teeing off. Summer evenings watching the sunset from the large terrace over the distant mountains of the 'Sierra Espuña' with a sundowner and sampling the freshly prepared local products is an absolute must! 2018 saw the opening of The Hotel and Spa at The Golf Resort of Hacienda del Alamo, as the center piece of HDA, a beautiful boutique style hotel with open spaces, stunning vistas and several options for 'food & beverage' (Currently Closed due OWNERSHIP CHANGE)

Fairways Gastro Bar now occupies an enviable location looking over the golf course to the distant mountains, currently open from 4pm, varied drinks and food menu. Two kiosk bar/restaurants open daily with a selection of English and Spanish food. Pam’s kitchen in the Spanish Village is also turning out to be a ´foodies´ destination.

Pam’s Kitchen, family run restaurant offering a fusion style cuisine, a much needed and happy alternative. Booking highly recommended.

Sports Bar at the tennis center offers drinks and snacks on a daily basis, IT lounge Bar opens early afternoon  until late with live sports and weekly events of live music etc.

Manolo´s Restaurant overlooking the golf course, Mediterranean style cuisine with pizza & pasta options. A more formal dining experience.

February 2019 saw the opening of Corvera International Airport (RMU) which is just a 12 minute drive from The Resort entrance, flights in and out daily from the UK with increase traffic and availability expect as the seasons change.

A 5 minute car journey from the entrance gate to Fuente Alamo, the local town that pretty much offers most of what you might need on a daily basis with shops, bars and restaurants also has 2 medical centers and a bi-lingual school.

Further afield, within 30 minutes’ drive, the major towns of Cartagena and Murcia City are steeped in History and still offer a view of The Real Spain with comparable services and shops of major cities in The UK. The Murcia Region, a popular destination for Spanish Tourists boasts miles of unspoilt beaches and The Mar Menor inland sea, the largest salt water lagoon in Europe offers many water based Sports activities. All within 30 minutes’ drive!
