Further afield, within 30 minutes’ drive, the major towns of Cartagena and Murcia City are steeped in History and still offer a view of The Real Spain with comparable services and shops of major cities in the UK. The Murcia Region, a popular destination for Spanish Tourists and boasts miles of unspoilt beaches and The Mar Menor inland sea, the largest salt water lagoon in Europe offers many water based Sports activities.

Great beaches can be found at Los Alcazares (Mar Menor) and at Puerto de Mazarrón, both just 25 minutes from the resort.
